I’m very proud to announce the release of my first illustrated picture book, ‘A Whale of a Day at Botany Bay’. It was written by Sian Turner in 2018, and I began illustrating it in 2019, and completed in 2020. I receive the clever rhyming words which suited my Australian style of art, and from that I created the storyboard, the layouts, the hand painted illustrations or Acrylic on Gesso Board, and then did the digital master with the text…to really make the visuals my own.
